Anyone try Blue Heron Acres Wagyu yet?

I have ordered from them and met the owners - the meat is fantastic and they really are as good as they say they are. The animals are treated incredibly well and processed in a humane and ethical manner. They are never taken off of grass, so even though they say "grain finished" they still are on pasture their entire lives, they are just also given grain in the last 6 months which allows for the marbling in the meat. Very different from the mass meat producers and factory farms who don't allow their cattle any access to grass. You can be assured these cattle are grass fed their entire lives, humanely treated their entire lives and humanely processed - and the owners oversee their processing. The meat is very good - I highly recommend giving it a try!

Harrisburg? Is it possible to eat there?

Char's Bella Mundo is phenomenal and in a very pretty area of Harrisburg near the river http://www.charsbellamundo.com/. El Sol is terrific mexican - their molcajete is nearly identical to the molcajete I've had in Guadalajara and they use corn tortillas (traditional in Mexico) and they make real margaritas (not from a mix) http://www.elsolmexicanrestaurant.net/ .

Stay away from Stock's - not nearly as good as Char's or Bricco (referenced as well).

Your hotel is not too far from Hershey so you may also want to consider heading that direction for dinner.

I need a good place for breakfast along I-81 between Harrisburg and Winchester

Fay's Country Kitchen in Carlisle, PA on I 81 about 20 miles south of Harrisburg - right on the main drag off of the Hanover St exit in Carlisle, it's at the corner of Hanover St and South St. Old homestyle country breakfasts, cash only, very inexpensive, don't take reservations, coffee isn't great though so if you're coffee drinkers, either stop at Panera Bread on your way (also right off the exit) or drive a few extra blocks to Casa Mani, local coffee shop with owners who apprenticed in Italy, it's on the corner of High St and Pitt St. You can take your coffee into Fay's then to have with breakfast.

Restaurants with a view

Went to 360 last week and was incredibly disappointed. The rolls/bread weren't warm and tasted like they came from a bag - if they were made there they were horrible. Our meals were not good - my husband ordered the fettucine with prawns and lobster and everything was overcooked- the pasta and the seafood. Not close to al dente and the seafood was nearly rubbery. I ordered the duck and actually had to salt and pepper it to give it any flavor, and I never salt anything after the cooking process unless it's really just incredibly bland. The view is certainly beautiful but in my opinion, you're better off spending the $20 per person to go to catch the view, and then spend another $100 elsewhere on a fabulous dinner. The food is so lackluster and disappointing, it nearly spoils the view.
