Unending hunt for the perfect birthday venue

It may be a little out of the way but Reagle Beagle in Brookline just opened a few months ago and it sounds just like what you're looking for. Great, funky cocktails, very good food, hipster scene (no suits), but all in all pretty casual. I'm not sure if they take reservations byt check out their website, I would think they would.

Bloody Mary / Chowder / Freedom Trail Crawl!

Hi hungry people!

My cousin is visiting from Georgia this weekend and we were thinking of doing the tourist thing, so we decided on the Freedom Trail - not too much of a commitment if we get bored. To spice it up I thought it'd be fun to make it a Bloody Mary / Chowder crawl as well. Can you guys give me any absolutely don't miss Bloody Marys or Chowders in town? If they're not on the Freedom Trail that's okay but if they are all the better!

Thanks!

Harvard Square Lunch Saturday afternoon?

Hey there! This weekend my parents and my boyfriends' parents will be meeting for the first time and we are going to a football game at Harvard. I am looking for a good, low key place to go after the game for lunch in Harvard Square. I am familiar with the area but I am looking for something that might be off the beaten path a little bit because we don't want to get swamped with a long wait after the game (should be 3ish). There will probably be 8 of us. I was thinking John Harvard's or something like it. Any good suggestions?

Thanks!

Best lunch in Chinatown?

great recommendations - thanks everyone!

Best lunch in Chinatown?

I'm starting grad school tomorrow and my campus is right next to Chinatown. Can anyone recommend some not-too-miss lunch spots? I like everything but am not confident that I can navigate the food scene in the neighborhood on my own. Tell me where to go and what to order! Thanks! Oh and yes, grad student = the cheaper the better :)

Visiting Boston with a Shellfish Allergy…

I work at Legal Sea Foods and they are fantastic about accommodating allergies. The manager will personally run your food. We have tons of options on the menu that are shellfish free and it's also a Boston institution so you can be sure to get a taste of New England here. If people in your group are craving lobster and you don't want to be left out I'd definitely recommend Legals.
