Dining in the beaches
If you don't mind a little travel, Geo at Queen and Leslie (Big Nose out front) is a nice little italian place that I recommend. As well, Main and Danforth has a nice bistro called Bistro Camino, a Japanese chef who is French trained and the place is priced right.

Need a good non-fried chicken wing recipe
I have been baking my wings for years now and I prefer them to fried. All you do is turn your oven to 325 degrees, season your wings with salt and pepper and put them on a wire rack for about 1.5 to 2 hours. They should be nice and crispy by then. In a big bowl add half a stick of butter and a couple tbsp woster sauce and half cup of your favorite hot sauce. throw your wings in the bowl and toss. The wings just absorb the sauce and stay crispy. Wicked simple. Opps, don't forget to put your wire rack on to a sheet pan to catch drippings.
Cheers

toppings for curried butternut squash soup?
When I was in chef school we made a similar soup. For the garnish we made savory crepes. We made an apple chutney. Dropped a dozen chives in hot water for ten to fifteen seconds. A heaping tablespoon of the apple chutney onto the crepe gathered the crepe in and tied it together with a piece of chive. Place the the filled crepe in the soup bowl and pour the soup around it. Nice presentation with a little surprise. giver a whirl.
