Hi all!! Oaxacan cheese.......

Thanks all for the help!!

Hi all!! Oaxacan cheese.......

anyone know where I can buy some? Either in Mtl or on the South Shore.Just got back from mexico and I'm craving it to put it on everything!!! LOL!! And a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Restaurant recommendations in Downtown Montreal or Old Montreal area?

Line-up goes real fast.Schwartz's smoked meat is much better IMHO.Just don't ask for a lean sandwich.That's sacrilege.LOL!

Actuall, parking was very easy.I tried Muvox like I explain below but give it a 6/10 at the most.Quite expensive for the quality.

Back from Old Mtl and went to Muvbox.Dusty was partly right. It was expensive.$8.95 for a small duck sausage pizza (quite good acyually) and I got the $15.95 lobster roll platter that consisted of the lobster roll (OK but could've used more acidity IMO but had nice chunks of lobster though) and the bigger clam chowder bowl,a bag of chips,a Pepsi and a small bag of oyster crackers to thicken up the chowder. The clam chowder was very ordinary and bland and quite thin consistency also.Liked the seafood chowder I had at McGibbon MUCH better.Over all I would give it a 6/10.Nice concept but they must improve the taste. Happy Dusty? ;-)

Sorry,a diner,not drive-in. My bad.

Thanks Dusty.I was just near Dani Pizza today but went to McGibbons instead.Going to the port tommorrow and still have to try Muvbox though. Will let you know if you're right!

There is one on St.Catherine near Papineau and the Rad-Can building that I went to a couple of years ago.It was great and think I will go there this week. Will let you know the name of it too.

Went to McKibbon's today and the clam chowder was excellent.Fish and chips were pretty good too.

All great choices but I've done all those and Banquise (best poutine!).Was looking for newer ones to try. Thanks anyways though.

Actually,me and the wife are going to the Old Port this week (weather permitting of course) and saw that in the Gazette a few weeks back and was going to try that. Thanks!

Me and my wife are off next week and if you were to do this type of trek, where would you go? Looking forward to your suggestions!
