Early Breakfast in Honolulu?

I agree that you can get a decent breakfast at anytime at Wailana Coffee House and MAC 24-7. Wailani would be the best since it is only a block away but the way Hilton Hawaiian village is designed seems to hold guest hostage in their property. Even though Wailana is only a block away it is quite a long walk. I would also like to suggest Eggs and Things if you have a later conference since they open at 6am. They are closer then MAC 24-7 http://www.eggsnthings.com/

Vegetarian in Hawaii (Oahu, Big Island, Maui)

Can't speak for the other islands or the far reaches of Oahu but the places in town that I can recommend are:

Hale (macrobiotic japanese influenced vegetarian. option of a fish dish for non veg.)
Well Bento (vegetarian plate lunches takeout only fish and meat dish available)

Also many Thai restaurants have vegetarian menus as well.

Butcher in Honolulu

Thanks for the suggestions. I will need to make a trip to Whole Foods and give Y Hata a call. I also did a bit of research and found a few possibilities and figured you guys might be interested as well.

Anyone have any experience with Aala Meat Market (http://archives.starbulletin.com/2007/07/08/business/story01.html) or Young's Meat Market.

Also found an older article from Wanda Adams on the subject

best steaks in Oahu

Not exactly sure who has the best but here are a few that I like.

Wolfgang's
Ruth's Chris
Hy's

All of them are conveniently located in Waikiki and the first two are very near the Royal Hawaiian.

Butcher in Honolulu

I am looking for a real butcher in Honolulu. I want to find someone that I could order veal bones or specialty cuts from. My search so far found that the supermarkets here cannot help me. Any ideas?
