Cuisinart Chef's Classic cookware?

Thanks RGC...
It has 4.5 stars on Amazon, with 250+ reviews. So, I think I'm going to buy the set. If I don't I'll probably kick myself....

And, sorry about the plug. I'm agree with you in general, but it's my sis & it's a great site... anyway, thanks for weighing in!

pizza stone?

It's not quite quarry tile, but a friend who works with ceramic clay made me a 'stone' (just a flat slab) that I keep in the oven. I've had it for 10 years, and use it for pizza and bread. It works very well.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic cookware?

Hi all,

So there's a major deal on a 10-piece Cuisinart Classic cookware set right now, at Amazon for $105 (!!)

That sounds almost too good to be true, so I figured I'd check with this crowd before I buy it. Does anyone have any thoughts on this line? Isn't the price suspiciously cheap? It's normally $400. TIA for your input.

Shameless plug: I found out about this deal through my sister's awesome new website, www.breadbox-sucasa.com. Please visit!

Should I keep my Le Creuset round oven?

I agree with Alan, too. I was in a similar situation when I started cooking, and I think a food processor is far more useful in the kitchen than even the most gorgeous dutch oven. That said, have you considered a mini-food processor (around $40). I use mine every day and rarely pull out the big one now. Also, consider a 2-qt LC if you're mostly cooking for 1 or 2. You can usually find great deals on the smaller sizes.

Good websites for kitchenware?

Thanks for the tips! I was looking for both practical sites, like Sur La Table, and the ones with cool things, like Breadbox. You guys just made this process so much better!

Good websites for kitchenware?

Hi,

We just moved and I have to get a lot new things for my kitchen. The only thing we've brought is a few good pans that we invested in. Otherwise, I'd like to get some quality stuff this time around.

I'll be mostly shopping online and I see great cooking sites all the time. But can anyone recommend a few good websites for new, cool kitchen wares?
