Trendy restaurants with great food and will not break the bank
In upscale places, such as Casa la Femme, the price for a cocktail tends to be anywhere from 12-15$. While I don't disagree that it is a bit pricey, that's just the way it is in many locations. I have dined at CLF countless times (back to the days when they were on Wooster St) and I can certainly vouch for the prix fixed meal. Their food is always amazing, and the prix fixe menu is really a steal. Their lamb chops are amongst the juiciest and most tender I've ever had (no one can top Dad's BBQ!) and their grilled prawns and fish are outstanding as well.
So yes, I would definitely say the food is more than worth the cost for the prix fixed menu.
