they are all special and have their own presonality..depends what you are looking for. the original (97 Sullivan) has an amazing casual fun hospitality, and great food. Sushi (up the street - 119 Sullivan) same kind of vibe, but around great sushi. Bakery is even more relaxed, with more variety that the origanal - really a remarkable experience for an out of towner. Sushi Bar and Grill (58th Street) is the most sophisticated, with really a spectacular mix of sushi, but also japanese inspired american favorites like steak and lobster. basically you can't go wrong - just depends on what you are looking for.
