Passadis del Pep or Rias de Galicia

hmm..reading what I wrote I guess it does sort of sound like a review of a sushi joint, which most certainly this was not...that being said...all that is required for good sashimi is is really fresh fish, and that was my point. The pieces of fish were amazing. There take on ginger was unique and different than any japanese restaurant as the it was pickled with some spicy component that made it very distinct. This was one of many appetizers there...It just happened to be quite good. The shellfish was really the maior portion of the meal and that was perfect as well.

Passadis del Pep or Rias de Galicia

I haven't been to Passadis del Pep but we just ate at Rias de Galicia 2 nights ago and it was phenomenal. Obviously it was pricey but you sort of expect to pay for food this good.
Starters: Sashimi: Toro, Scallops, Salt water eel, and a fourth that I think was snapper. The ginger was fresh and spicy and uniquely different than most sushi places, the wasabi itself was really good, and the fish was beyond very fresh....really impressive.
Mid course: Octopus: I saw it written that you should order here what you can't get anywhere else and the truth is the Octopus was really good, but I think you could get the same or better elsewhere.
Seafood Platter: An amazing collection of really, really fresh shellfish. Loved it. Just great.
Desserts: lemon gelata with a lemon-gel covering a collection of berries-perfect, mango/chocolate mousse...elegant in presentation and perfectly rich.
This was our best meal so far in Barcelona I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Pizza in Croton/Ossining zone?

Bella Paola is the best as far as I'm concerned. They've never been rude to me...but I'm not a teenager so who knows how they deal with them...The pizza however is great...The thin crust pizza is always fresh tasting, not too crispy yet not soggy...really made perfectly (for me anyway..). I find it better than Cappricio II.

I 'd have to agree about Koba..I was pretty let down. The food was ok but I kept feeling like they were trying to squeeze every pence out of me...after charging for every little thing (I did think the banchan was ok though albeit small in quantity) watching them recycle the paper chopstick covers on the sly seemed kind of lame given that they were squeezing me for every piece of cabbage, every piece of beef (quantity was quite small), and every piece of squid...Next time I'm in London I think I'll go somewhere else...

Chinese Food Redux...Northern Westchester

ACE is quite good but a bit's sort of pan-asian not really chinese and has some french influence...somehow whenever my wife and I go it's over $80 for the two of us (with drinks and a bit of leftovers....the chocolate soufflee is quite good and I like their Bimbimbap and that I'm writing this I'm not sure if their chinese food is any good though....:)

Any recommendations for Indian or Thai restaurants that deliver to Chappaqua?

delivery is tough, but if you are interested in a great deal nearby, there is a little nothing of a storefront in Thornwood called Westchester Grocery right near the train station that is an Indian/Pakistani grocery store that has a restaurant in can call in and take out from there...the food is well-spiced, quite tasty and really cheap...Bollywood quality at half price...the lamb chops are the best....the problem is there is no real menu per se, it changes daily and it definitely is not a place you want to eat in (I think the tables are probably more for you to sit while they ready your food, although you certainly could eat there...) But the food tastes great and is quite a deal...
