il Luogo de Aimo and Nadia, Trussardi alla Scala, or Innocenti Evasioni for dinner in Milan?

Why don't you try La trattoria del nuovo macello (Via Cesare Lombroso) ? Not a Michelin starred resturant but the food is great and very milanese (try Cotoletta). Take a taxi to go there.

Milan: One perfect romantic weekday lunch? Ideally in the center?

Il Salumaio di Via Montenapoleone. Not the best food in Milan but a wonderful place. Check their website.

Sardinia / Smeralda Coast / Gulf Orosei Recommendations?

Sorry: La Bruschetta 0789.58463 Viale Aldo Moro (far from the city centre, very convenient if you are travelling to/from Olbia.
L'Osteria del Mare 0789.25801, via Delle Terme 10 (downtown).

Sardinia / Smeralda Coast / Gulf Orosei Recommendations?

Hi,
my best advices for very good food at reasonably price are La Bruschetta and L'Osteria del mare, both in Olbia, both specialized in fish. Not traditional (especially the second one), very well managed, high quality.

Best regards
Marco

Auto Grill, Good place to meet and eat?

At the airport you have no choice. In general at Autogrill locations along the highways you save time and it is to choose what you even if you don't speak italian. Otherwise, if you have time and do want to face the risks deriving from an Italian menu in a spek-Italian-only place, I think that leaving the highway and investing 1-2 hours of your time in a Trattoria or a local restaurant will be a completely different experiece. It is also a way to discover real Italy and it is very probable you'll get a good pasta. If you are able to read some Italian there are many guides regarding trattorie and osterie that can help to find a good place.

Best coffees in Milan, Venice or Florence?

In Milan the best place for a coffee or cappuccino + croissant probably is Saint Ambroeus (Corso Matteotti, close to Via Montenapoleone). It is quite expensive especially if you ask to be seated (which you should do if you really want to enjoy the relaxation of the place surrounded by rich old women and businessmen). Historical place.
Another historical place is Pasticceria Marchesi (Via Meravigli junction with Corso Magente). No tables. Great aperitivo (ask for "un marchesi").

10 Corso Como should be open, but it is far from Brera.

Auto Grill, Good place to meet and eat?

If you can, just take the first exit from the highway and look for a Trattoria. A true place, not junk food.

A Sunday from Milan - would love to go to Piemonte

Rent a car and go for a great Sunday lunch somewhere (in a place where you can walk after lunch for some hours...). For wine: it is harvest time, so it can be very interesting. Check http://www.movimentoturismovino.it/ca...

Kitchenware - Milan, or the Piedmont in general?

In Milan try Kitchen, Via de Amicis 45 (close to Sant Ambrogio). It's really a nice shop. For linens a great (and expensive) place is Centrotavola, a small shop really close to Peck (the best place to buy food), in Via Spadari.

Milan, Bebel's -- a dissenting opinion

I've been there last night, the service was rude, the pizza was terribile and the meat (churrasco) was not that good. The only positive not was the wine: not a big choice but a good choice. Of course the place was packed. Tipically of Milan: trendy places are full of people even if they are terribile. There are so many places where you can eat well in Milan...
