Visiting NYC from Chicago during Restaurant Week - Any Suggestions?
We are staying in Tribeca and are willing to go anywhere in Manhattan for great food. I would love to try some of the specials from Restaurant Week if possible. Any suggestions from locals are appreciated!

I would also add Piece in Bucktown. They have really tasty New Haven style pizza and they are a brewery as well.
I definitely second Hopleaf as well. Make sure that you get the fries!

Vancouver and Whistler Recommendations [Moved from Canada Board]
Hi everyone!
My husband and I are traveling to Vancouver and Whistler in August and are looking for recommendations for restaurants and things to do. One "must-see" I've been told is Granville Public Market, so we're definitely doing that. Other than that, we have no plans. I would prefer to stay away from the restaurants that are big for tourists and would much prefer to eat where the locals eat.
