CRAFT LA

I'm going to craft la tonight and wanted some recommendations. What to try and what to avoid??

Thanks in advance~!

nice brunch near getty villa in malibu

I'm going to getty villa in a couple weeks and want to have a nice lunch/brunch before going. anybody have any recs?

Cobras and Matadors?

I'm going out with some friends and I've been wanting to try Cobras and Matadors for quite some time now. It's been years since I first found out about this place, so I wanted to check in to see if it is still what it used to be.

If not, can you recommend me a good place that's fun and good for a small group? Maybe AOC or Tasca? Doesn't necessarily have to be tapas tho.

Thanks~!

Best Koobideh/Lula and Kabobs in LA?

I've had many a kabob and koobideh. There are only two that are worth remembering, can you name a better place?

1. Shamshiri (Westside)
2. Raffi's Place (Glendale)

8 times out of 10 I will order chicken koobideh, so let's use that as the standard. But I do love beef and lamb kabob and koobideh as well.

Thanks for the recs~!

Best Sushi in Santa Monica???

Sweet, it sounds like Mori is the place for "reasonable value" sushi in SM. This is not related to sushi, but I got a rec from my friend that Musha in SM is good. I know that it's Izakaya and not sushi, but nonetheless, any comments about this place?

Best Sushi in Santa Monica???

Hi, I'm going to be heading out to SM this week and I want sushi. Please help~!

Let me explain what I don't want:
-No rolls
-No secret sauce
-No 50% off specials
-No chinese or koreans pretending to be japanese

What I do want:
-Good quality
-Good cuts
-Reasonable value
-Omakase preferred

Something similar to Zo's or Nozawa's would do just fine.

Thanks~!
