Help find good bakery in North O.C.!

Thanks for the links. I think I'll try Beverly's Best in Fullerton tomorrow. It sounds good.

Help find good bakery in North O.C.!

I'm tired of receiving (or buying for someone else) those same ol' grocery store cakes. Usually they're flavorless, dry, and have an overly sweet, waxy frosting. I'm an adult for goodness sake! I deserve an adult cake with adult flavors like chocolate with Almond Roca filling or lemon with passion fruit filling. Ooohhh yaaa...

So please, if anyone knows of a good bakery in NORTH Orange County I would greatly appreciate it :)

Film & TV: Favorite Fictional Food & Drink?

I couldn't think of anything on my own, so after a little research:

- Slurm, the very addictive bright green drink from Futurama (aka butt juice from a certain species of talking slugs)
- Scooby Snacks. Even though it's a doggy treat, they had to be awesome if Scooby was always willingly to chase after ghosts, bigfoot, etc. just to get some.

Park Ave. Restaurant - Stanton?

JTea gave this link: http://elmomonster.blogspot.com/2005/...

It's from the discussion board about food at Angel's Stadium. I've never been to Park Ave. but elmonster's review was very informative.

Can you eat anything at Angels Stadium

I've never heard of Portillo's but after looking at their website, I think I'll give them a try next time I'm in the area. The place's 30's prohibition theme looks like a lot of fun.

As for good food at Angel's stadium, haven't had any and probably won't- ever. I just can't willingly pay for food that is grossly overpriced. Although I'm ashamed to say that last time I was there I gave in and bought a $5 bag of popcorn. I'll go ahead and say what you're thinking: I'm cheap.
