Where is the best Red Velvet Cake?
Loved the icing ang moist red velvet at Susie Cakes...The other cupcakes were above average (meaning better than most). They opened a branch in Manhattan Beach last week, Believe they have them in Brentwood, Newport, and Calabasas. Here is a web site:

Wish I would have read this before our trip. Love suckling pig and so far the best I ever had was in Madrid area. Tried many different versions from around the worlds; but the Spanish method seems so simple and pure...Tried to go to Inopia, but my girlfriend bailed-out on me...this trip has been a real eye-opener. For those chowhounds that have the compatible partners...I envy you. I also missed the Quim at the Boqueria.,,girlfriend wouldn't wait for a seat, But Cacao Sampaka was GREAT! So innovaticve and delish! Went to the one off Rambla Catalunya.

TYVM- we are narrowing it to the ff places as a must:
Cinc Sentits, Alkemia, Inopia, Cacao Sampaka, Escriba , Quim de Boqueria. We'll make reservations at the first 2; then have the others in our GPS and drop in as we're in the area. ANything we missed. My girlfriend is a chocolate freak; so we can't miss Sampaka and Escriba Chocolatier.

I Love the buffata at Frascati. I also order their specials; which seem to be very reasonable. Bring a good bottle of wine and the corkage is reasonable.

this is the second time i've seen this Seafood City offering pork or other meat products....maybe i'll give a try. What i'm really looking for is a source for Kurobota pork belly. My girlfrind and i tried this on our trip to Osaka; luckily her company paid the tab!
Where to find Pig's Feet in the South Bay?
That's a strange place to buy pigs feet; at a seafood market! Have you bought or seen them there before? The skin needs to be whole and as natural as possible to practice stiching human flesh.
