Thank you FreshPicked. We are going to put Elliott's on our oyster bar route. We thought we would cruise and eat at several oyster bars. Can't wait to get to Seattle to eat.
Where to go for great cocktails and oysters on the half shell
We are coming from Arizona and our tastebuds are hankering for fresh oysters on the half shell and martinis. Where should we go ? Bellevue, downtown Seattle, Kirkland, Queen Anne area or around these areas. Moderately priced.

Whole Wheat Pastry Flour?
Try Trader Joe's. They have Trader Joe's flour that I like even better than King Arthur.
Soft and silky. Most stores also carry King Arthur whole wheat.

Sedona Restaurants - need help
Garland's is the best breakfast in town and their dinner is fabulous. But call as early as you can for reservations. L'Auberge is just okay anymore but great atmosphere and okay for breakfast or lunch. A must is "Elote" on Highway 179 in the King's Ransom Motel. Excellent Mexican food and one of the best restaurants in town.

Late evening in Scottsdale/Phoenix
My favorite late night place is Pasta Bar. The best pasta in town. They are open until 2:00 am on Fri. & Sat. and 12:00 am Monday-Thursday. Their cocktails are fabulous also.

Romantic Dining in Sedona
I would take her to Garland's Lodge up Oak Creek Canyon. You need to make reservations ASAP. It is so beautiful up there and the food is so good and the atmosphere beautiful right on the creek. Go for cocktails at 6:00, dinner is served at 7:00 and then after dinner you can go out and sit by the fire and have an after dinner drink or coffee. This is one of my most favorite places.
