Quickish delicious bite around Radio City
I'm working at Radio City this week and am looking for places to go during my lunch/dinner break, but only have an hour break with walk time...
Where should I go to get something quick but delicious, I went to the Burger Joint yesterday, because they never fail...

Via Emilia or Bianca... Gnocco Fritto
So I went to Via Emilia and we had the Gnocco Fritto, Fried Calamari, the "Candy" pasta and the Pumpkin ravioli... all the pasta was made fresh there and it was pretty good... fairly cheap, the calamari was nice and crispy without being chewy and the gnocco fritto were OK, not exactly authentic but an ok version of them.

I just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a really good place on the lower east side to get a great brunch that really combines breakfast and lunch, I would like it to be around Grand street because I would like to double dip and get some donuts at the donut plant... Best moderate Northern Italian?
I know its not in the city, but I am a northern italian from Pavia... and the point isnt to neccesarily wow but but as said in a previous post to really bring out fresh ingredients such as a basil marinara... simple but flavorful... the best place that really takes hold of this is Trattoria Al' Incontro on 31st and Ditmars... the last stop of the NW train in Astoria... Yum

If you want to travel outside of the city and want to make a night of it in Astoria I would suggest going to Trattoria Al'Incontro (for Italian) or Kykladis (for Greek) then follow it up with a night out at the Beer Gardens and enjoy something from the grill... Incontro is amazing and you can make reservations... Kykladis has amazing fresh fish but you cant make reservations!
