Special Dinner for 20 people at a Washington Winery
I'd highly recommend Cana's Feast in Carlton for a dining and winery experience in a beautiful Italian setting. See their website www.canasfeastwinery.com
They make wonderful Bordeaux blends and have a great catering dept.
The Youngberg Hills winery has a beautiful B&B although can not accomodate 50, but some of the group could stay there. It is on a hill overlooking their vineyards. Very special. Good luck.

Call the owners/winemakers of RULO, BUTY, ISENHOWER, CHATEAU ROLLAT, TERTULIA AND PATIT CREEK. You can get their info on www.wallawalla.org/directory.cfm The wines are excellent.
Don't miss L'Ecole 41 and Woodward Canyon in Lowden on the way into town and the tasting room for Nicolas Cole Winery in the center of town. A must for dinner is the Creekside Cafe but you need reservations. Good luck.

Pub or restaurant near waterfront in Edmonds, Tacoma, Des Moines, Olympia...?
My first recommendation would be Ray's Boathouse on Shilshoe Bay...inside or outside. Next door is Anthony's just in case Ray's is full. Excellent seafood plus many other options.
Lunch ideas in Port Townsend
I will have six to eight people with me later in the month, on a day trip to Pt Townsend. Need lunch ideas that are reasonably priced, casual and offer some choices for vegetarians. Prefer restaurants that support local growers. A view would be a plus, but not critical.
Near the Seattle Opera House
The view is nice, but stick to the drinks as there is FAR better food in Seattle. If you are willing to wander further afield on one of your nights away from the opera, then you really should go to Ray's Boat House. You will need reservations 1-2 weeks in advance. It is a good 15 minute cab drive from your hotel.

Since you are a visitor, I'd recommend eating at any one of these four and taking a taxi to the Opera House, if you want REALLY good seafood. You can review their menus on-line: Ettas (a Tom Douglas restaurant), Ponti Grille, Palisade and Seastar. Finding great food around the opera is tough.
Party of One - need a good meal while in SEA
Le Pichet on 1st Ave has great French bistro food and serves its full menu at the bar. Also, two blocks away is Buenas Aires Grille where you get great meat and sides; also served in the bar, or at the bar if you don't want the restaurant. Wonderful malbecs available from Argentina.
Best Small out of the way place?
Rhodedendron Cafe in Bow; or the Oyster Creek Inn, also in Bow. Beautiful drive!
Oregon Coast-Good Seafood
We love the Sea Hag in Depot Bay; especially their fried ocean calamari and their clam chowder. In Astoria, we always eat at the Fish Inn where you can get everything from the sea. Both places are very casual.
