Loop area - Ethiopian,sushi,Viet & more

I don't think there's an etheopian place in downtown. Ginza on Ohio is the best original sushi place downtown. Japonais is fancier more americanized Japanese place.

Berghoff has re-opened?

It's not the original one any more. Food in the restaurant is just so so. Cafeteria downstairs is just a place to grab a quick lunch. Nothing special overall.

Lakeshore Drive

You pretty much covered all Chicago lakefront neighborhoods... You know how many there are? Any specific neighborhood?

Chicago Seafood (Bachelor Party)

Hub51 is a great place for drinks. I had dinner there a few times. All were pleasant. Food is fairly good. Just beware of the super slippery floor in the back, and make a note of its crowdness and loud noise...

Romantic Streeterville Lounge/Resto?

the lounge on the mezzanine at the Drake hotel is great if you are into classy places. Live music/singers on weekend nights. Red Rooster is this tiny little French place. It's sorta hidden and hard to find even you know the address. It's tiny tiny, but pretty romantic. But it's a bit away from Streeterville. If you have to stay in Streeterville, most places are either crowded or loud. There's a little Japanese restaurant called Ginza at Ohio and Wabash should be quiet. The food is authentic. Did I mention the place is very small? It could get crowded. So call for reservation or get there early. They are not open on Sundays.

Any good TAPAS in Chicago?

Cafe Baba Reeba is definitely good. Mercat a la Planxa is about the same. Both are expensive for Tapas... Cafe Iberico is dirt cheap. But surprisingly good food if you don't care much about the dining atmosphere.

Kan Zaman - good Mediterranean food with belly dance performers on Fri & Sat nights.
Terragusto - well hidden excellent Italian restaurant, reserve the chef's table, try the chef's tasting menu.
Tango Sur - great Argentine restaurant. be there early, they don't take reservation, and it's always crowded.

Chicago Seafood (Bachelor Party)

Best seafood in the Chicago area is... Oceanique in Evanston!!!
It's a great cozy little place that's definitely worth checking out. I'm not sure if it fits for bachelor's party... It's quiet, relaxing and classy.

Visiting Chicago from Toronto-where to eat.

Not a big fan of French food. But I liked these two places below. Used to like Madame Tartine for it's cosy outdoor seating on Hubbard. But it closed down recently... :(
