cosimos on germantown ave. is not bad. it's across the street from the borders book store. I have yet to find great pizza in the chestut hill, mt. airy area. however this is the best I have found.

bindi at 105 13th st. is excellent indian food. as everyone here has said estia is also very good.

the dark horse pub in head house square (2nd and south st.) real near your first hotel. great food good beer selection. nice bar. I used to bring my newborn their all the time when I lived in society hill.

lacroix in the rittenhouse hotel is first rate french! barcley prime also on the square is a great steak house.

good point. so maybe whiskey in the evening. Gin, and beer on the beach. The only mixing of beer I have ever done is a balck and tan. so I am curious to try the chilada and the red eyes. thanks to everyone for your help. looking fwd. to a relaxing vaca.

i agree with you about the cooler. i got a big one for the rental and a smaller one to bring to the beach. why is a can better than a bottle? I really want to know.

Hi going to nags head NC for a week. not a big drinker, but when i do, I usually drink whiskey. However whiskey and the heat do not sound apealing. what do people sugest as a good drink for the beach?

Hi, I am going to Nag's Head for a week planning on doing a lot of grilling. A friend of a friend told me that Cahoon's grocery store has good meat departemnt and is good place to get most of your grocery shopping done. It is real close to where our rental is. What are other peoples opinions? Do people have other sugestions for getting good steak, chops, and ribs to grill?

budakahn is 2 doors down from you hotel. If you go at six for dinner it should be fine. Your 6 year old will think it is cool. huge buddah, cool lighting,food is good and you can't beat the commute. you can also tell your firends you went to the original budakahn. your hotel is a great place. very nice staff. my parents often stay their when they visit.

El vez, Jones, and BIndi are all great and easy walking distance from your hotel.
