Return trip, what do we add to our list?
We're a mid 30s couple who was last in the city 8 months ago. One of us does not eat meat (fish though) and we're looking to add some new restaurants to our list. Would like to make reservations, enjoy fun atmosphere, inventive, fresh food, not stuffy, in past enjoyed Blue Hill, Red Cat, Stanton Social (ok), Nobu. Always go to Lupa as its a tradition but the other 2 nights are open. Looking at River park. Also need a Japanese suggestion (non traditional rolls, veggie options). Appreciate thoughts and suggestions thank you.

Toronto visitors - looking for Saturday night plans
We're a 30 something couple visiting Chicago. We'll be staying at the James for 3 nights and I'm specifically looking for Saturday night recommendations. As we'll be enjoying a child free night looking for a Saturday recommendation for a restaurant with some lively atmosphere, leaning towards inventive sushi, or casual Italian (Lupa type) or contemporary American. One of us is a non meat eater (Fish is fine though). thanks in advance.
August trip, Lower East Side, suggestions?
We visit Manhattan every 6 months or so and are planning a 3 night trip in August, staying in LES. Sample of restaurants previously visited Blue Hill, Nobu, Lupa, Market Table, Red Cat... Would like some new suggestions for restaurants that have energy/vibe, are doing interesting things, and are not totally meat focused (one of us does not eat meat, but does eat fish). Thank you!
