What is in a Chicken Madness?

Nothing like nostalgia topped with bacon! Thanks so much to all of you! That doesn't sound too tough to recreate at home- I'll give it a try soon!

What is in a Chicken Madness?

It's been a few years now since I've left D.C. (moved to Florida) and recently I was thinking about the Chicken Madness from Wisemiller's Deli in Georgetown- I can't for the life of me remember what is in it or what made it taste so good? I believe it was just chicken, green and red peppers, mayo lettuce tomato... what else? Does anyone out there know or have a good guess? Was it really that good or am I just being nostalgic?

DISNEY WORLD IN ORLANDO, FL

It's been about a year since my last visit, so I can't vouch for current quality- but have you considered Cafe TuTu Tango on I-drive? I love it for kids because in my experience: 1) they enjoy the Flamenco dancers zipping around 2) the noise and bustle in the restaurant drowns out your own children should they turn raucous =) 3) The food is delicious and the "small plates" allow you to control your spending and enjoy delicious foods, while catering to potentially finicky kid palates (i.e. for you its a plate of manchego and jamon Serrano, to your kids its just ham and cheese and some apple slices!).
If you're willing to drive a bit, I love Olympia (8505 E Colonial Dr) for Greek with kids - on Friday nights at 9 (?) they send out a belly dancer (I tell my nieces we're off to see a Disney princess, Jasmine, and they love it). If your kids can stay up past 9, stay for the music and dancing (the vibe is usually like you're right in the middle of My Big Fat Greek Wedding- children, grandparents, everyone shares the floor).
Enjoy your vacation- Happy Eats!

Orlando take out (east side/airport)

Have you tried Goodfellas Pizzeria (11865 E Colonial Dr)? They do takeout and delivery (warning- they are cash only for deliveries). They do a nice thin crust pizza, but also delicious entrees. Their chicken Romano is my personal favorite (chicken breast pounded thin topped with ham, eggplant & a sherry cream sauce- Yum!). They also have a really great pasta dish with tomato and feta cheese- don't remember what it's called, but I think it is the house special. Louie and Maria's (also on Colonial) also does phenomenal Italian- but I'm not sure whether they offer takeout. Lastly- right next to Urban Flats there is a new Cheeburger Cheeburger ( a chain, yes- but they make a darn good burger and frings basket to go!) Good Luck!
