Potato Chip Afficionado

the best chips i have ever had was a recipe from my friend in Curacao. You take any kettle cooked chip or thick chip plain flavour only. then in the bag squeeze fresh lemon juice and a generous dash of Maggi seasoning. i dont know what happens but the alchemy that occurs in the bag is awesome. its salty and sour and crunchy. has anyone ever heard of this recipe? try it and tell me i'm not wrong!!

Indian restaurants in Tucson

i have not tried that one but went to Gandhi the other night and was quite disappointed. We started with a non-veg app plate which was not great. The chicken was dry and seemed reheated many times and the rest of the app were forgettable. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken madras and veg curry also garlic naan. It comes on a plate with a piddling amount of raita, lentils and oddly a slice of melon and an orange slice. fruit totally unnecessary btw. we ordered it regular which was not only bland, the spice mixture was weak. the only tasty dish were the chicken tikka masala. NOT A FAN

Tucson - Mexican restaurant?

just went to pico de gallo twice this week,. really tasty tacos. tried the barbacoa, birria, cabeza, chicken, shrimp, and carne asada. i didnt think there was a big taste difference between the three first taco types (birria, cabeza, and barbacoa) but they were still tasty. love the veggies carrots and onions that come with the plate, so colourful and tasty. also had a cheese quesadilla. the tortilla was delicious. i asked what kind of cheese and he said monterrey jack which kind of dulled my enthusiasm.
any thought?

Portuscalle

we had our work xmas party there and iy was really great. the marlin carpaccio was delicious as well as the roasted tomato and goat cheese tapas. their olive oil is sublime over the raw fish. i had the rack of lamb which was ok but two of my colleagues who are portugese had tuna which they said was amazing.
