Try the AMMOS Mediterranean & Greek Restaurant (450-688-8008), it''s not in Montreal proper, it's in Laval!!! Only 15-20 mins from downtown. Check their website via google.
Good seafood, good decor, good friendly service and for romantics, reserve well in advance ask for a table near the window on the mezzanine!

Hakka Restaurants in Montreal?
I do not surf a lot but Hakka cuisine is definitely NOT an amalgamation of Chinese-Indian cuisine. The delicious food served at Eddie's Wok"Roll in Mississauga may be Chinese-Indian Fusion food which IS delicious but I repeat, Hakka is a very distinct cuisine!.
I am Hakka and I am a Montrealer.
As a Hakka person, I do not go out and look for Hakka restaurants but rather all other ethnic and exotic restaurants in the city. I'll certainly look for Hakka restaurants and try them for Chowhound and will post my findings.

U R out of luck! there don't seem to be any store in the West island to come up to yr standards. Guess the Jean Talon market is still yr best bet.!
