Hey! We are going with Barley Creek Brewing because they can do the bar/passed hors d'oevres/sides etc that are more than the typical potato salad, cole slaw type.
We had a tasting over there and the mac and cheese was really good, everything else was pretty typical catered food. Oh and they also know our venue and will bring the roaster there, which I really wanted.

Im trying to plan a casual backyard wedding next summer in the Poconos (an area not necessarily known for its cuisine)
and would love to get a recommendation for a caterer that will do a pig roast on site. Theres ton's of great farms in the area, so it would be great if they used good quality local ingredients. I also would love to have fried chicken, which also seems like a stretch up there.
Any help would be great since we live in Philly and will have to travel to find some of these places.

Kate- Do you need reservations at El Almacen for a Saturday night? How far in advance would you think?
