Best Totopos y Salsa in Austin
Go to any Baby A's ,and you have to ask for it, and it's free of charge, the avocado tomatillo sauce. It's pretty darn good, not the best but darn good. Going to see IronMan2 this Saturday at The Ritz on 6th, kinda hyped up on the theater.

This is crazy in a good way! I've lived in Austin for about 25 yrs. I've seen this store when venturing down south Austin, never ever thought it had a Indian food cafe in it. Wow, and the website said open till 11pm, sweet!!

Texas Monthly's top 50 burgers
Fleming's Steakhouse has a pretty good burger on their HH menu for only $6.00, with either a side of fries, or two large onion rings. Burger is normally priced $14.00. It was very tasty.
fried catfish
Has anyone tried the catfish from Golden Chicken/Chick?? I was getting some chicken tenders to go, and saw them fixing up an order. They actually dredged the catfish fillet in some cornmeal mix.

torchy's tacos--what am i missing?
I haven't tried Torchy's yet, so I can't say anything bad. I just hope it's not the same as Maria's Taco Express. I recall everyone raving how great it was, so I gave it a try. I was like what the h*ll am I missing. Never step foot again at Maria's Taco Express. I do miss El Pato tacos, or Maria's carnitas from McAllen, Tx. Mmmm.

I've had the spice lamb dish twice. The meat is sliced fairly thin, small pieces, no bones. It's pretty good.

I've seen boiled peanuts at MT supermarket in Chinatown on North Lamar. You won't get Cajun flavored ones there. ;)
