Carnevino or B&B?
I have been to both and would say it depends on what you want. The steaks at Carnevino were wonderful and very large. Service was great. If you want Italian I would recommend B&B, I know it is not a popular place on this board but I have been there four times now and have always had a positive experience, including the last one two weeks ago where we only ordered apps. We told them up front that is what we wanted and they were great recommending something new for us and a wine that went great with them. We were there in February and had the mint love letters and thought they were one of the best things we had eaten in a long time.
Unusual food on the strip? Going in 2 months to Vegas...staying at Venetian.
Hi, I'm the Mom and the one who wants the others to expand their horizons as far as food goes. Thanks QAW for the reply. Can anyone recommend a specific presentation for the foie gras or bone marrow? Remember these are people who the most exotic thing they have eaten is veal. We are willing to go to Wynn/Encore or somewhere close as we will be walking so not at the other end of the strip.
Las Vegas looking for specific food
Long time lurker looking for info on where to find pork belly, beef cheeks and bone marrow. Looking for these foods in vegas and am leaving on Tuesday, know this board can help. I am not looking for full meals here just where I might be able to find these possibly as appetizers. On company business so I can't spend an arm and a leg but am willing to go a little higer. Already going to the Bubble Bar. Please help!
