Does anyone know of a vendor/store in San Francisco, or in the greater bay area, that carries Grand Mountain sriracha? It's the sauce found on the tables at Hawker Fare in Oakland... |

Dinner at Shanghai No. 1 Seafood Village I ask to see if the restaurant is worth the effort to go to for dinner... I've read an old review by Jonathan Gold and it seems reviews here are mixed, plus they were a bit old... |

Bludso's BBQ is coming to Hollywood at old Tar Pit location! Should kill all the 'Animal' posts too... Everytime I click on the thread, I expect info on the new Bludso's locale... But... Nada. :/ |

I had their birria several weekends ago... And it was quite nice... Tender pieces of lamb in a spicey (well, not too spicey to me ^^) broth with onions and cilantro atop, but they really should give you something to accompany it... Like tortillas... |

New Ramen Joint in J-Town (Waraku) [San Francisco] Hmm... 'MenOh' was nothing special when I went back in August... And seeing Melanie's post about her recent visit to MenOh... Looks like nothing has changed... :/ Hopefully this new venture will be better... Might be checking it out tonight... ^^; |

Help with low-mid end food choices, Tokyo I think most of the 'tourist trappy' places will be the sushi joints at the market... I went once to Sushi Dai... But there's more than that at Tsujiki... :) I like a lot of the suggestions made at this site... |

Any suggestions for a good and quick sundubu pit stop in Koreatown? |

If someone in Japan could please kindly assist me with an inquiry... :) According to this blogger's entry (http://tokyofood.blog128.fc2.com/blog-entry-46.html), At the site that hosts information on places to eat at Tsukiji: http://www.tsukijigourmet.or.jp/21_ya... It notes served on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (火,木,土) Hopefully google translated Normally, I would go with the place's own site info, but since Tonkatsu Yachiyo doesn't You gotta wonder which is correct. : )Thank you for your time and effort if you chose to assist me and call the restaurant up If I spoke Japanese, I would do this myself... Thanks again! :) |

Yeah... That is why I picked out Warayakiya... I have been to Andy's back in 2007... Thought it was OK. but not worth a return visit. Guess my friends and I will give Warayakiya a shot in about...5-6 weeks... :) |
|
|
I read about the place on a CNN article and Metropolis had a review as well... So was curious, since it sounded interesting... |
|
|
So... I guess it's not a worthwhile place to dine... And the food is so-so? |
|

Well... Looks like the only sushi place in Tokyo we will be going to is the Shibuya location of this chain... http://www.sushinomidori.co.jp/index.... Will be in Kanazawa on the 27th and the 28th, so maybe will fare better there... ;) |
