Recs for a Redondo Beach gastropub for girl's night out?

i believe thats it. couldn't remember the name.

but it looks very urbane and civilized for the rough and tumble pier.

i haven't been.

Sounds fun. There's a joint directky on the pier. With mixed drinks and finer food.

Mc Donald's Egg McMuffin

i'm pretty sure it's not steamed. processed in the way the preservatives are added to everything at McD's.

December's Ciclavia: Leimert Park, Expo Park and South LA. Any Recs?

hit up the joint at corner of slauson and crenshaw, same mall as the supermarket and popeye's, the dinner is pretty filling, oysters and fish, two sides, some bread that you throw out of course. i usually get tater salad, but for obvious reasons, you'll skip that and french fries and i dip everything in copious amounts of hot sauce. i think it's like 11.99 or 12.99, all in for the goods.

And a PSA for you ballers out there.

from the old times:

And on Nov. 13, if you happen to be in California's Santa Ynez Valley, S.Y. Kitchen in Santa Ynez is having a very special Barolo dinner with the wines of old-school Barolo master Giuseppe Rinaldi. The northern Italian menu from chef Luca Crestanelli is designed to show off a vertical tasting of Rinaldi’s Barolo. I should warn you there are white and black truffles involved -- and elaborate pastry, too. The cost is $275 per person, and that does include tax and tip. Call the restaurant at (805) 691-9794 to reserve.

thanks for the heads up, never had a clue it was on the menu.

btw, did you ever try the White Russian there, someone said it's quite interesting and house made or something as well as drink with crushed chapulines topping the hi-ball glass ????? can't remember the name of the drink.

Breakfast Burritos at Cofax

id hit up all three on a friday: fish and chips, breakfast burrito, and a whole pie, but that would cost me just as much as omakase from a dependable sushi bar.

Mc Donald's Egg McMuffin

yeah, but what is it fried in egg, that's definitely not a poached egg.

that would be interesting if McD's did a health food version of the McMuffin with a poached egg.

What's the name of the joint that serves Beijing pies but is not Beijing pie house on garvey but rather is located on the second floor of a mini-mall on valley blvd, possibly near SGV Blvd, and either in Alahambra or maybe San Gabriel proper ????????????

Let me see. I'll see if I can verify it with an old LA Times counter intelligence review.

Thanks man.
