Honeymoon rack of lamb with that famed bottle of '89 Haut Brion...the memory lasted longer than the marriage(lost that old Chow user-ID in the divorce)!

My current drink of choice:

Sleeper "wine-finds" in between the rarer special-occasion cellar selections, CT Wine Trail tastings, and any other as yet untried fruits of the vine that are oh-so fine. :)

I really wish I could:

have found Chowhound before a few years ago, to be able to tag along with Zimmern on 'Bizaare Foods', and to be able to dine out as often and excessively as I used to(you know, it's NEVER enough).

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

What are you makin'? I'll bring "THOSE" bottles and help the qualified cook with the meal...and clean up too.

My favorite comfort food:

What I call my "Better than Mom could ever make" triple-shot of Neopolitan sides at Antonio's Ristorante in East Haven: Suffritta(cause you gotta have "heart"), tripe(yeah, I said it), and porkskin braciole(insert favorite "skin" humor here).

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

Impossible to say until I've tried it all and get to the end of "My Road"...those wine dinners and meals at Still River, Ibiza, Sharpe Hill, and La Tavola are a fine start though. Omanel and Ibiza Tapas for my one and only "pork-chop"(in between Shack attacks)? "Oh-oh say can you see..Trattoria Lepri"?

David Rosengarten's 'Dean and Deluca Cookbook' and 'It's ALL American Food'....but mostly ANYTHING Bourdain(not cookbooks but I'm left unapologetically amused every time).
