Kaya Toast in Calgary?

Does anyone know of a Singaporean restaurant or an Asian restaurant in Calgary that serves Kaya toast? I just saw it on TV and would love to try it, but I don't want to go through the effort until I know I like it first.

Manuel Latruwe in Calgary - What should I get?

I agree - the bolus is outstanding. ML is the closest thing to a real European bakery that I have experienced in Canada. Croissants are supposed to flake in your hand and be light as air. Chewy Safeway croissants are NOT real croissants.

I think ML's food is superb. There bread is a treat and a far cry from the Eiffel Tower, who tried to flog day old baguette off on me twice.

cafe deville?

I agree. The panini sandwiches were re-heated from the fridge, the mac 'n cheese with crab was nukked from the freezer. It all tasted not bad but you are aware that it is all re-heated. I hope they get their own kitchen. The staff was nice but the prices are not posted anywhere. My panini, mac and cheese and a lemonade came to $27. You could do better.
