Anyone experiences with Chinatown Panang?

I've eaten there 3 times total at the Chinatown Panang since they've opened. Each time, I tell myself... I'm not coming back here again and as you can tell... I forget, go back and make the same vow. Only, this time... I remembered!
The food was very oily/greasy/heavy even when I ordered a dish that seemed relatively healthy (fish, vegs, mild spicy). The service was not so good. We were one of four tables during dinner time on a Thursday night. It was as if we were intruding on their time. Forget asking for more tea or water.
I would say... sorry... For Malaysian food, try looking elsewhere. Panang is overpriced, not that tasty with smaller portions and lacks good service.

Sushi all you can eat?

Sushi Station in Arlington Heights/Rolling Meadows.
Not quite all you can eat or a buffet, but still lots to eat and reasonably priced. It's good sushi that travels on a covered conveyor belt. You chose what you want as it passes you and pay according to the dishes you've chosen at the end of the meal (plates are color coded for pricing). Sushi ranges from $1 to $5.
Prepare to wait a bit on the weekends and some nights.

Garlic - featured restaurant?

Is there a restaurant in the Chicago / suburban area that features good garlic dishes? I've been to the Stinkin' Rose in Beverly Hills, CA and it was soooooo good, I'm trying to see if there is someplace home that is just as good.

I'm not a diehard fan of garlic, but everything on that menu was so tasty I've been craving for something like it since. Specifically, a delicious roasted garlic clove spread they had as an appetizer (tons of whole cloves roasted, with olive oil served with bread... you take a clove or two...smear it all over the bread, drizzle the olive oil just to taste and YUM!!!!!)

Can anyone help? Ever been someplace that had something like this???

Thanks a lot!

Homemade Biscuits & Gravy and Sloppy Joes

Thanks Erik! With a whole summer to explore, there's no place not convenient for good b&g.

Homemade Biscuits & Gravy and Sloppy Joes

Does anyone have any good suggestions of places for really good homemade biscuits and gravy? Plus a good place for sloppy joes?
I'm looking for something in the North/Northwest area (Lincoln Park, Roscoe, northbounds toward Skokie, Evanston, Glenview)...
If it's really good, I'm willing to travel!
Thanks for any suggestions!
Oh... Outdoor dining would be a plus too ... Nice weather, why let it go by sitting indoors?
:-)
