Family Restaurant in the North End
I am looking for a reasonably-priced restaurant in the North End that has the feeling of a family-run restaurant with Southern Italian food. In other words, we don't want anything fancy...just straight up good pasta dishes and a low-key atmosphere. Ideas?
Family-friendly, private dining?
Friday night, any type of food but probably Italian or American is best...I don't mind expensive, but that often means fancy, and that may not be appropriate for a seven year old.

Hello! I am looking for a place to celebrate my mom's birthday. There will only be seven of us, but I thought it would be special to rent a private space or room in a restaurant in Boston or Brookline. The place needs to be family-friendly because my seven year old nephew will be joining us. Ideas?
