I mean where would you eat? Where are the greatest Happy hours, Buffets and Values and coupons? Also food trucks. Most of all late night drinking. Yahoo!!

Great Question!! Buy it, buy them all!! But don't eat at them all ....LOL!!
Not all restaurants are worth the price, even after the discount, nor are worth eating at. I mean many over priced places are on both list. It might be better to go for happy hour or somewhere else to really get a value. OR wait for Seattle's famous, Restarunt Week! We use both cards almost every week. As dose everyone I know. Enjoy!
Slow & low turkey for Thanksgiving - any recipes?
WOW!
THE LOW & SLOW is the only way to go!! As most pro's know, Low and slow is the only way to roast anything, especially Birds. Its safe and smart, just takes far too much time for most in a rush. Most test kicthens and restaurnts all cook turkey's slow and low. So why shouldn't you.
Cook your brine and buttered Turkey on a rack over a bed of onions, carrots and celery and white wine at 250 to 275 for 20 min LB. or until the dark meat reaches 157. Then take out of oven to rest for 15 to 20 until the temp drops below 151. Then get the oven back up to 500 for 5 min. Put turkey back in for 15 to 25 or until golden brown. Rest covered until back down to 144 before cutting.
Never ever put stuffing in any bird!! EVER!!

Please include how long will take to get there from Sonoma State and $$$$. We will be in and around the Sonoma State Area for many years to come, to see our kid. So we will always be looking for any and all suggestions, blogs or whatever to do, visit and most of all eat on a dime.
Our budget of time is under an hour drive and under $200 for 4 with 4 course wine.
We really like TASTING MENUS or small plates.
We have tried most of the top 10, moreover loved it. But now are looking for more advise and how now to save a dime.

Suggestions for nice dinner in Big Sur/Carmel?
Big Sur is nice BUT take a little drive to the first hotel in Carmel "The Highlands Inn" for Dinner. This has THE best views, wine and food nearest Big Sur. I have been there many times since our honeymoon. This is still one of the most romantic places in the world. True it was on my honeymoon. But as foodie for the last 40 years, and eat at most of the top 100. This place is worth a visit, meal & a stay.
where to eat in Santa Cruz, CA?
Going to be there from the 9th to 13th of July racing sail boats and want to know where and where NOT to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would like to eat nearer the Santa Cruz Yacht Club. We need to carob-build, so if you have any Pizza suggestions please do so.

Lauren ... Why did you not like the Herfarm and why are so many others, higher on the Herbfarm over Canilis like in reviews and awards? Canilis is what kind of place? Is it soft quite and upscale is everyone dressed up?

Ethereal thank you. The Prime Card is just someting to get more info on. What do you think of the places on the prime card? I mean, I only know the Herbfarm and Coho's, so how do the rest line up in order of best to worst? Moreover how do they line up to others that do not take the card?

We are new to town and are looking for things to do on both our birthdays, Father's day and Anniversary this month. Like tasting menus, events, and wine tasting dinners, cooking classes or even, Tours, Cruises and Festivals. I found something for about $50 persons for tasting multiple JB award winning restaurants , what is that? Also what is this Beer feast all about?

Dinner in Bellevue
FYI its easy to find places in Bellevue they will all like. Downtown as more choices than most cities. From chain to up scale. I suggest you head toward and order the "FISH" and "Oysters" Matts is just 5 miles away in Redmond. But most Young Guys will like bar hoping, so go to Kirland a few miles north then walk around or Downtown Seattle 15 miles away.

We are just like you, we want R.O.I and lots and lots of TMI. We all are trying to find the best of the best, especially value and quality. So info on HOW to save a buck, get a deal and where to use the PRIME CARD is HELPFUL. But we want to go to more than just to Coho and the Herbfarm for all our dinning on the eastside LOL :)
We do want to go to everyplace just which ones first and which one for this BIG NIGHT!!
To us the Herbfarm should be topped, its just by who! So we would like to know. Let's just use Herbfarm as a starting or references point ,to judge others by. As well as the French Laundry.
So the first answer should be, have you have been to either or both, Next do you know the restaurants on the prime card? Last, which ones are the best of the best?
I could name 100 places in and out of town in hopes of getting more of this great feed back!! So we apologize for bring up The Herbfarm again and again. We just are looking more great info, places, choice and recommendations.

We just relocated to Trilogy/Redmond, WA from CA. Therefore are clueless to everything in the state, So please tell us something about anything and everything even the PRIME CARD opnion and opinions of places thatmight be any good?? We have been using the Prime Card, in hopes of to save a buck. So got any ideas??
In-addition, we have the big 25th anniversary coming up next week. My lovely wife is a real Foodie, therefore likes places like The Herbfarm & French Laundry by Thomas Keller in Napa $300 PP. Which we have been too many times and can afford that for this important day. So we are looking for anything as good or better. Please rate all the flowing in anything you suggest. Romantic, European, Californian, View, and FOOD within an hour or less of Redmond.
We have been to The Herbfarm years ago on vacation, Cost me over $2000 for table of 4, but is was worth it, becuase she loved it. Is it still as good, or is there anything better anywhere??
