Food Essay Recs Please!
Hello,
I am looking for an essay on food that really drives home the sensory experience of eating. This is for an introductory writing course that focuses on the personal essay. I'd like to give my students an essay on eating/taste that underscores the physical experience.
I have lots of fantastic essays on food/cooking/eating (Trillin, Fisher) that are great examples of the culture/history of food, but would like one that really emphasizes the sense experience.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
