Dare I ask, is Per Se really worth the cost?

Worth and cost are not the same. I would not want to spend a special night being disappointed. I run my own business, and although my compitition has higher prices, they don't provide a better experience.

Best dinner around w57th and 9th ave

I'll be in town with my Father and daughter in August. I'm looking for a consistantly good restaurant in the area with a lively atmosphere that is not more than $30.oo for an entree. We are up for anything so long as it is good. My daughter also wants to find the best pizza in the area.Dinner is for a Sunday night. And my Dad is looking for good coffee in the am. Any help I can get from you guys would be much appreciated.
