My first visit to Heston Supper Club
Laporte, Indiana. It's just north of town, from the east side of Laporte, take Fail Road north to county road 1000 North. It's right there on the corner. Open 7 days a week. If you get lost, call for directions 219-778-2938. I'd give it 1 thumbs up, 1 wrapped around my fork!
Heston Supper Club
We were there just last night. Right now they are running during the week specials so I got the 6 oz filet mignon dinner for just $15!!! Cheese & crackers, homemade soup or salad & bread, that beautiful filet covered with sauted portabello mushroom slices, and a generous (to say the least) helping of veggies. Baby brussel sprouts with bacon were the veg of the day. YUM! The staff always strikes that perfect balance between professional and friendly. I've never had a bad time there, I don't think it's possible. It's definitely my go-to place when it has to be perfect for clients, family or friends.
Dinner in Michigan City
If you have kids, Swingbelly's is always fun out on the deck. For just adults, I'd drive out to Jimmy's in New Buffalo or Heston Supper Club. Both are excellent.

If you are going to try Stop 50, go before you are too hungry - it can take an hour to get even your appetizer there. Plan for a long wait. The pizza is good but not good enough to wait that long.
