Kellogg's Raisin Bran - What happened? I miss Crispy Wheats and Raisins. That one was the best. |

Pittsburgher: french fries inside sandwich? Don't forget about our salads with fries on there too! Bishops Pizza in Carrick puts curly fries on their steak pizza, and is excellent. My favorites are either double Cap and egg or double pastrami and egg. The egg and Red Devil hot sauce make it. The cheesesteak one is God awful though! Just a hamburger patty, which was the first one I got as a kid. I'm glad I decided to try a different one or else I'd have never went back. The best part is that they're easy to make at home if you're not able to get to Pgh. The hardest thing is getting the slaw right. |

Frozen Burritos-Do You Eat Them? I like them. I nuke them up half way, then top with shredded cheese an into the broiler. Top with salsa and sour cream. Ghetto enchiladas! |

Gyro meat -- homemade? buying (online/at store)? storing at home...? GFS has precooked gyro meat in store, but you can order even the whole rotisserie loaf from their catalog and pick it up there in a few days. Restaurant Depot has them as well, but you need a business license (which there are ways around). |

best packaged or bottled ranch dressing? (not hidden valley!) Hellmann's is/was a very good one, but I'm not sure if its available anymore. |

Our Meal in El Paso at the Texas Roadhouse Texas Roadhouse is pretty good. Their ranch dressing and salads are excellent. I'd say their steaks are a notch above Outback, but a notch below Longhorn. Prices are very good too. What irks me is the "fall off the bone" ribs. I don't know who started that whole thing, but fall off the bone is a BAD thing. That means they're over-cooked. The meat should come off the bone with little resistance only where you bit. It takes away the fun of picking up a rib and eating it. That said, they still taste good even if you have to eat them with a fork. Next week they're doing an all you can eat buffet with steak, ribs and chicken for charity for $20 bucks. I'll be training the whole weekend :) |

A Big Bravo To Taco Bell's Cantina I got the chicken burrito and thought it was terrible. No flavor at all. I really wish they worked on the cantina street tacos more instead of releasing this. Their menu is getting very, very confusing. |

I used to love Sheetz, but a Get-Go (similar thing owned by Giant Eagle) opened up about the same distance as my Sheetz. They destroy Sheetz in almost everything. Their steak and Italian hoagies are better than every pizza joint around here. They even have kielbasa and hot sausage hoagies. I really miss the hot pepper relish Sheetz used to have though. |

Your Favorite McDonald item(s) Deluxe Big Breakfast My absolute favorite is the steak bagel. If they'd put the steak, onion, cheese and that sauce on a burger bun, I'd be in heaven. |

Help outfit a completely bare kitchen! Baking stone, toaster oven, a kitchenaid mixer, sheet pan with a cooling rack, digital scale, ove gloves, crockpot. If you can, go to a restaurant supply store or GFS if you have them. Also, check amazon. They have really cheap kitchen stuff. I got a big like 13 pc Cuisinart set for $130. Don't forget small things like a colander, potato peeler, can opener, thermometer, spatulas, tongs, whisks. Buy the best you can afford for the things you'll use the most. Skimp on the other stuff. |
