Nyonya is malaysian restaurant next to Ferrerra's on Grand. English speaking waiters are most helpful. WD-50 is also nearby, but be sure you have time for tasting menu and can afford the price.

If you had four days in New York before you dieted what would you eat?
The tre leche doughnut at Doughnut Planet on Grand is fantastic as is the Expresso gelato at Grom. Blintzes at Edison Cafe and ricotta pancakes at Sarabeth's. Don't miss Dylan's Candy Bar and restaurant.

Birthday Dinner: Which to go to?? ELP or Del Posto????
Just returned from 10 days of playing in NYC. EMP was one of the best meals we have ever had. Coming from N.O. we have tried all the top restaurants, and were disappointed by the food at Per Se. Eleven Madison has atmosphere, beautiful presentation, incredible food and service, with lots of surprises thrown in for the fabulous tasting menu. The waiter was well informed and patiently told us of our options. Great place for special occasion, or it will be one.

Chola dinner tomorrow
Been in NY for over week and enjoyed many ethnic restaurants: Victors, Ali Baba, Ariyoshi,
and going to Chola for Indian tomorrow night. What should we not miss?
Dinner at Per Se highly overrated and not overwelmed with Filidia. Ali Baba was outstanding.
Lookikng forward to Chola and Anthos before returning to N.O. Will return to Veciero's for cheesecake (american and ricotta);
