Anniversary Dinner Help
That's what I gathered about Stella, but it came highly recommended by a couple of people.
I just read about August and it looks really good! Thanks. My wife will be there for the week and, unfortunately for me, I think she is going there for dinner one night.
Anniversary Dinner Help
Where is the best place to go in town to celebrate an anniversary? I would prefer traditional cajun/creole cuisine (or at least Southern), but will go another route if there are better options. We would like a quiet, more formal place with good service, but will go more casual if it means the food is better. I have made a reservation at Stella!, but I'm having second thoughts.
Veloce Pizzeria
We went there last week. The pizza is very good, but not the best in town. We had a calamari appetizer that was outstanding. I have a feeling that everything at this place is good. I thought both the food and wine were a little pricey, but all in all it was worth it.
Good Lunch Takeout Near UN
I will be near the UN tomorrow and need takeout recommendations. Food carts work, too.
Old-School Italian
Thanks for the recommendations. I have walked by John's numerous time and it has intrigued me. I also have heard good things about Piccolo Angolo. We have been to Il Vagobondo and it is truly old Italian. However, we thought the food was horrible. Were we there on an off night or is this typical? Has anyone ever heard of Monte's?
Old-School Italian
We have some friends coming to visit who want to eat at an italian restaurant. They are unadventurous eaters and I am afraid that they might be intimidated by most Italian menus. Are there any restaurants that have a good, basic lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs or baked ziti?
