My best meals have been all about the company and the location - I would much rather recall the overall magic and glow of the meal, rather than recite the menu.

Give me sparkling wine (champagne, cava, prosecco) and I'm suddenly the happiest person in the room.
I really wish I could:
Scale, bone and fillet a fish without losing half the fish. Have the patience to follow recipes.

Japanese curry. Paella. Shepherd's pie.

Onigiri. Okayu/jook. Miso soup. Spag bol. Something wobbly or custard-y for dessert.
