Restaurant that can Accommodate Large Party (Capitol Hill area)

Quinn's is a good option. Had a large party dinner there before (about 10ish people if I remember correctly) and sat at the big table on the second floor. However, they're really anal about having everyone in your party arrive right on time. We had a couple friends who were having difficulty finding parking (friday night at cap hill... go figure) and our server said he would have to open up the seats to other people on the wait list if our friends didn't show up in 2 minutes. Luckily, they came right as our server was finishing his sentence.

Au Pied De Cochon Reservations

Tried calling them 4 days before at 4pm as suggested and finally, someone picked up the phone. We asked for a table for 7 and when she said they didn't have space for the day and time we wanted, I said it was fine to split up our party into 2 tables. She said that would be against their policy, which I thought was odd. So I made reservations for 3, and had my boyfriend call to make reservations for 4 at the day and time we wanted. We're traveling so we couldn't be more flexible with the dates. All in all, it didn't matter our party was split up, we had an awesome meal and I wish we could have taken home the Duck in a Can.

Au Pied De Cochon Reservations

We're visiting montreal with the family a week from now and since I've heard so much about APDC, we'd like to give it a try. However, why is it so difficult to make a reservation? Does anyone know if the restaurant is currently closed? I've tried emailing and have had no replies. Tried calling them a couple times and it seems like our call is forwarded to their voice mail.. Suggestions?

Moving to Seattle SOON, looking for some things

Answer to no. 3 - If you really want the best, drive up to Vancouver, BC and try Pearl Castle (the best IMO.. the food in PC is good too) in Richmond or DragonBall Tea House (they use real fruits here!).. Otherwise, try Mee Sum and Pochi in the u-dist, Tapioca Express up in Edmonds, or Ambrosia in the Intl Dist.

21st birthday party restaurant suggestions (Seattle or surrounding areas)

What's a good restaurant to have a 21st birthday dinner with a group of friends? I'm looking for something that has a cool vibe, good food and good for groups, of course.

Budget: probably around $50-$60ish/person.. (quite flexible here.. as long as the food is worth it.. of course places like Herbfarm or Canlis might be too expensive)
No. of people: around 10 (some in the group may not be 21 years old yet... so the restaurant has to allow minors in (ie. I know Umi Sake House has a no-minors policy after 10pm??) )

Some of the restaurants I have thought of:
-Cafe Juanita
-Restaurant Zoe
- Veil
-Palace Kitchen

Any suggestions or comments of the above mentioned restaurants will be appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

Seattle International District for SE Asian

I tried the chicken rice at MSH once and was greatly disappointed. The rice tasted bland, but the oyster omelete was good though.

i like the belltown barbie roll, the $30 roll with toro and for something different and more fruity, the tropical paradise is also good.

Chinese dessert cafe in Seattle?

I was in San Francisco over the holiday season and I really enjoyed eating desserts at Golden Island Cafe on Noriega St, particularly the sago with fruits on top. Anywhere in the Seattle area where I can get Chinese/Hong Kong style desserts here in Seattle?
