I know an ownwer of a CC, I know for a fact that they do not use a frozen patty.... it is brought in fresh daily and it is certified black angus beef !

Since when do the servers cook the food? The wait staff has no control over how the cooks are preparing the food. I would bet money that the server doesn't even ask the cook. And why in god's name would you wink. How does that help? You are asking someone to break corporate rules. Rules that are there for a reason. All for you to have a burger cooked 5 degrees lower.

It's very easy to call yourself a hamburger place and not offer medium rare. For a restaraunt to offer medium rare hamburgers it can be very dangerous for one reason. To properly kill all the bacteria that grows in processed meat like the Black Angus they use it has to be cooked to 155. The medium they offer is 155. If you know anything about the restaraunt business or cooking you would know that medium rare is 150 so there is a 5 degree difference.

Cheeburger Cheeburger does not use frozen patties. That could not be farther from the truth. They use fresh Black Angus beef, that is delivered to their stores four times a week. The patties are made before each shift, I went to one and talked to the owner about how much I hate frozen meat. He brought me to the window where they were cutting the fresh meat.
