i agree with waiting. i went within 6mo's of each other and the luster had not worn off on my previous visit, thus i found the 2nd experience to be good, not great.

the fresh faire near me has prime once in a blue moon. the last time i picked up a prime rib eye and it was pretty darn good....and for $9.99/lb, it was an unexpected good deal.
that being said, i buy most of my meat at costco. look for the prime beef in the light blue styrofoam trays.

li qun was good but i felt like something was missing. i think mr taster hit the nail on the head....the meat was just ok and the skin was not crispy enough.
please note li qun is on the dirty side and smelled horribly....which is due to them drying duck carcasses in the dining area.
Dine LA best choices?
i'm a pretty big eater and i was pretty stuffed when i left bazaar (fall dinela). granted we were a party of four and concocted a tasting menu (via the dinela menu) for the entire table.....but there was more than sufficient food. perhaps i ate more than the others? lols.
that being said. the dinner was good.....but i am not in a huge hurry to return.

what i am looking for is pure almond milk vs the mass produced ones from silk or blue diamond that are enriched and have added preservatives.

i had the 9 course last week and it filled me up....but i was a comfortable full. dinner lasted about 2.5ish hrs and was nicely paced.
oh, we did supplement the 9 course with the foie ravioli w/ truffles.
