I very rarely make the same thing twice, even if it's delicious...it's too tempting to try something new.

To narrow the field, I'm only choosing ones with the ideal food/atmosphere combo: in Boston, Lumiere and Eastern Standard; in London, Corrigan's, in NYC Gramercy Tavern. Wild card: I'm having a moment with The Blueberry Muffin in Cedarville, MA (breakfast only).

I don't usually use cookbooks - usually it's a recipe in a magazine that catches my eye or I turn to Epi, Food52 or Chowhound's Home Cooking board for suggestions to use up particular ingredients.
