There is a take-out section of really good Italian sandwiches. The sit-down restaurant is more fine dining than casual beach dining. The prix fixe dinner is $35. |

There is a new fine dining restaurant attached to the sandwich place and Italian deli, A Little Bit of Italy in Surf City on Long Beach Island. They do a $35 prize fixe with three courses. The grilled calamari appetizer was amazing! Everyone in our party loved their meals. Much, much better dinner and better value than L'asiette which is on the same block. |

As another data point - I read a pretty bad review of Butterfish in the Inquirerer. (Poor service and not great food.) |

Chester County/West Chester dining Gilmore's is good if you can get a reservation. Avalon is also nice and I've never felt rushed there. |

We go to the Mediteranian pretty frequently for falafel and are always satisfied. LaTolteca is my favorite Mexican - I don't know if it's byob. |

Produce Junction: First and Last Time The (relatively) new PJ in Exton is huge and has much better parking than any other I've been to. In my opinion you can't beat it for plants and although some produce isn't great, overall it's fine. I love getting fresh herbs there in the winter - I'd never pay grocery store prices. Re. plants - I've bought hydrangeas there that were three times as much at Waterloo Gardens. I love PJ. |

We love LaSpiaggia as well. Raymundos in Ship Bottom was also very good Italian - similar in style and price point. If you want a casual Mexican place we like a new place - Tiki Taco in Surf City. I think it's better than LexMex in Ship Bottom. |
