Do you mean 5 slabs?

Transplanted San Diegans living in Kansas City, I have found a place that makes San Diego-style Carne Asada Burritos!!!

Describe what makes a San Diego Carne Asada burrito. I'm In reverse, grew up with KC tex mex, and now have been on the West Coast for many moons, although up in Oregon.

Haggen Stores Yea or Nay

One pays for the pleasant shopping experience, but I am looking forward to them replacing our Safeway in Ashland.

I can't edit my boards...

I didn't delete any boards. I wanted to add my missing boards back to my list. If memory serves me, we started out with 8, then changed to any amount could be saved. Now I'm
Back to 10. Great Plains, site talk, and special diets vanished somewhere along the way.

Are Anahein chiles available near Cranford-Union County?

What do you mean by "green chile"? is it chili verde. Or maybe green chile stew?

Progresso Chili...opinions?

I've had the Chicken chili and it was good, but it was $1.58 good, not $4.50 good. I don't remember paying that much. Haven't tried the beef version.

Carls Jr natural Burger

You've got me intrigued. Especially if there's no bacon in sight. Hope it has made it to Southern Oregon.

Glad you liked it. Sorry about the game
Forgot to ever mention

Visit to Meford/Ashland OR

Dinner before the show? Are you going to the green show?
Smithfield's, Peerless,
Amuse, and Tabu are among my go to places. Are you eating lunch too? When you make reservations, specify that you're attending a play and they will accommodate you.

I trust your instincts, CHM. I too have heard good things about Q39, but upscale cue almost sounds like a contradiction in terms.:-)

I won't get in an argument with you, but I'm a born and bred kc'er only 62 years young. Jackstack is fine bbq, but I'm assuming Mr. James wants the full on experience. Short of Mr. Bryant rising from the grave, I'll stand by LC's.

No way is jackstack the best place in town. Go with LC's. Woodyard is a cool experience too, but in a different way.

I am thankful for having the opportunity to vote on this.
I was happy we passed the crop initative in Jackson County too, and glad the state was unable to stop us as they did with the rest of the counties.

Breaded Pork Tenderloin

Breaded pork tenderloins aren't true tenderloins. Not a whole bunch different than any other breaded meat found in many locales. Midwesterners just have a deep and undying love for deep fried pork products. Actually, a strong affection for all things deep fried.
