Beef Connections - Positive Review

I know this is an old review, but because of it, we've been ordering from Beef Connections. We order 50 lbs of beef and 25 lbs of pork, and we haven't been disappointed. In fact, the adult kids got together and ordered our father a box for Father's Day.
The sirloins didn't really appeal to my husband, but I savoured every bite. There's something about the meat that makes me order more. We keep half at home and the other half at the cottage. Thanks for the recommendation.

Auberge du Pommier Wedding

Been to one there. Food was great. Wait staff and Managers complained that it went too long, and customers complained the music was too loud. But otherwise had a great time.

ISO Danish style Smorrebrod

I know it's not in town, but Sunset Villa in Puslinch, ON does them very well. It's just over an hour away.

I try to get them once a year. I recommened their Smoked Eel and Curried Herring...add a Tuborg to that, and you'll never have to visit Denmark!

Toronto’s Best Butter Tarts Aren’t in Toronto

I'm just going to add a fantastic BT experience at the Pumpkin Patch. It's just too bad that it's seasonal. It's in Vaughan. I think they came to $1 each. There were multiple flavours. Pecans were nice and crunchy, filling was thick, could taste the butter.

Authentic Dulce de Leche

My sister just came back from Buenos Aires with La Paulina Dulce de Leche, which is IMHO far better than the PC brand, and the brand I buy from WIlliams Sonoma (sorry, forgot the name).

Anyone know if it's available here, or are there any recommendations of other Leche's to try?

Richmond Hill Country Golf Club

I went to a function this January there, in the large reception room. I thought the food was amazing. We had steak (the other alternative was chicken or fish). The steak was medium rare, which was exactly how my husband and I take it, the veggies were perfectly cooked, and the service was amazing. I'm normally not impressed with large banquet meals, but this one was particularily good, and I'm looking forward to next years' function.

Here Here, I haven't been able to find Mint Chocolate Cheesecake since Simply Delicious on Queen West closed almost 20 years ago!
