They're available in Canada since last week, along with fresh unirradiated mangosteen. Merci beaucoup to our northern neighbor for fresh supply of indian mangos, mangosteen, and way far superior gentleman bars. Montreal here I come.

I wish they'd have street carts selling $1 beef/lamb/chicken bbq skewers like in Flushing chinatown. It wish they have those $1 taco al pastor or baja style fish tacos like in San Diego or Atlanta. Yes I can only wish.

I swear I saw a bunch of frozen lobster tails on sale at Bj's and Costco, so this law can't be true?
I was browsing this website and then the Outback $14.99 sirloin and lobstertail special popped up. I've never been to nor care for this restaurant so I figured it's about time. Now that the special is not available, maybe I'll never get to go...which is fine.

I wanted to go Outback steakhouse for their $14.99 sirloin & lobster tail special. They told me it's illegal to serve lobster tail in MA so they don't have that special. Is this true and what is the rational for this law?
free pho on 4/4
Just saw a full page ad in the local VNmese newspaper from Pho Hoa will be offering free beef pho or chicken pho on April 4th between 11am and 3pm, to celebrate their 20th anniversary. There's no mention of which location but I'm assuming it's at least their Dot location. I don't care for the place, but you can call to see the free deal apply to other locations.

Saigon's meat sandwich is among the best but their pho is really disappointing in taste and portion...like five slices of meats and wilting veggies!:(

Yes their prices and quality are all over the place, like any other asian market. Go to HMart in Atlanta...WOW everything so fresh, clean, and cheap.

It's new and quite good, but not extraordinary. Their service is a mess...saw some people got angry and walked out. One unique dish worth trying is the crispy baked whole catfish, an exact copy of the infamous dish at Favori Restaurant in Santa Ana.

Pho Le opened last week across Pho Hoa in Dorchester. They're taking half the customers of Pho Hoa and ALL of what's left of customers from Pho So 1. Good food. Service is juvenile and sporadic but such is the case with all VNmese restaurant.

The pastrami was heavenly but the brisket at Katz suxs! I would have forced for my brisket money back and show it on youttube if the line wasn't so long.

Maggi is a brand that is produced locally all over the world with variation to local tastes. Asian stores in Dorchester carried Swiss version (~$14), French version (~25), Chinese version (~$7), Polish version (~$12).

Their pineapple has been on sale for $1.99 a few weeks. Their mango box is only $7.99 compare to the same one being sold at Boston Asian market for $12.99. i love going there but it's just too far.
