Probably too late now - but maybe worth considering for the future. This house is part of Fairmount Park - even though over on the Delaware and is just in the city in Torresdale. Wonderful place- empty most the time. Great views up and down the river... Glen Foerd

Thanks for the advice City Kid - unfortunately we were in NYC by the time of your post, as the place sounds wonderful. We ended up at The Modern - which is next too / part of MoMA and had a wonderful lunch - prices were not too bad - we got out at about $40 per head. The play was also great - Seminar with Alan Rickman!!!

Had reservations for Louisa's but party expanded to 6, and they will only take reservations / tables of 5 or less. Ended up going to the Black DUck which was good not great. Somehow the food sounded better on the menu than its execution... Highlights were the lobster bisque, Scallop entree, and peach cobler.

Wilco were great. Unfortunately traffic to get up to Montclair very bad so had no time for dinner. Afterwards - post 11pm - everything was closed - or closing. end up going to a not too bad - actually quite good newish diner on Bloomington near GSP. Thanks for all the reco's. There is always next time.
