Vexing Conundrum, crusader against evil ubiquitous vegetable gums, destroyers of all that is right and good in food; foe of insidious snobs and phonies; devotee of Knorr's spinach veg dip and bread bowl (aka: "food of the gods")..
Location:

Dover Sole in La Trattoria dei Pescatori, at 57 Charlotte Street, London....or was it the pad kee mao at pan asian noodle house near dupont circle in dc
My current drink of choice:
fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and vodka; sapphire and tonic
I really wish I could:
fly, be invisible, read minds (really?....REALLY?!..), sing in a rock band, tour the globe First Class, eat lots of lobster, crab imperial, fried shrimp and shrimp cocktail, beef Wellington, bearnaise sauce, and smoked baby back ribs (WITHOUT gaining weight) -- oh, and help all the little children, and bring world peace (which would involve, at a minimum, total elimination of evil, ubiquitous vegetable gums in all food products!)
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Tuscan Beef Stew or anything involving artichokes, spinach or cheese!
My favorite comfort food:
my mom's biscuits with my sausage gravy (i use milk), or grits and fried eggs for breakfast -- any other time, smoked pork ribs with a spice rub or with bourbon bbq glaze! Also, comfort food is Wok-charred fresh rice noodles in Pad Kee Mao with minced chicken, eaten alongside fiery Som Tum. How many comfort foods? Add juicy Chicken Tikka, Saag, Sri Lankan Egg Hoppers and Pol Sambol. I go crazy for Lebanese Toum on Marinated Roast Chicken in Lavash, too. My newest favorite food is Lao Crispy Rice Salad with Lao Sausage.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
